John has been repairing cars for a living since he was 16. That's a long time. He holds a degree in Automotive Technology and Business, has served as president, and other board offices, of the local Automotive Service Association, served on the state board, and been nominated to the national board of that organization. John holds an ASE master's certification, with additional certifications in advanced engine performance, I-CAR certifications on 8 areas of collision repair, an automotive air conditioning service technician's certification. He has been on the review committee for the certification of two local school training programs, (San Jacinto College and Westbury High School). He and his wife, Janice, are active members of a local church. John is a member of a number of business and community organizations.
